Welcome to Scribbling Sam's Studio, an illustration and branding studio in India where ideas begin
as little scribbles and grow into meaningful, story-driven designs.
We work with brands, creators, and storytellers to turn thoughts into visuals through
illustration, brand identity design, and visual storytelling.
Whether it’s building a brand from scratch or adding personality through custom illustrations,
we believe every idea deserves to be seen, felt, and remembered.
From children’s book illustrations to branding and creative design projects,
Scribbling Sam's Studio blends creativity with purpose (and a whole lot of sketching along the way!).
Every project is shaped with a strong sense of narrative so the final visuals don’t just look good,
they connect, communicate, and stay with you.
At heart, we keep things simple, thoughtful, and real. Because great design isn’t
just about how it looks, it’s about how it feels.
Hi, I’m Samruddhi - a visual designer who prefers doodles over long texts (ironic, I know).
I love turning thoughts, ideas, and the world around me into visuals-because somehow, that’s how everything just clicks for me. Words are cool, but shapes, colors, and compositions? That’s where the real magic happens. So yes, I’ve redrafted this intro more times than I’d like to admit (classic designer behaviour).
My creative journey started with a Fine Arts degree in Painting, where I first discovered the joy of storytelling through illustrations and brand design. While freelancing during college-illustrating storybooks and building visual identities-I realized something was missing: thoughtful research and solid reasoning. That “aha!” moment led me to pursue a Master’s in Design Space at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India.
Since then, I’ve had the chance to work in-house with design studios in Pune, collaborate with clients from the hospitality, food, and MSME sectors, and try my hands at everything from murals to menus. Sure, design tools are constantly evolving (and I’m constantly chasing tutorials), but I genuinely enjoy learning and experimenting even if I don’t always get it right on the first go.
